Recent Outfits… #WIWT #OOTD

Here are a few outfits I’ve worn over the past few days – with winter looming, I expect the new ‘WIWT’ blog post may include faux fur and winter coats.  In fact I’m in need of a new warm coat – and I’ve got a few I’ve got my eye on, keep your eyes peeled for the next post in which I’ll be selecting my top choices of winter coats.

I post my outfit looks on Instagram, so if you fancy following my name on there is also ‘@jonesloves.’

Green Tea & Acid Wash Denim

This is a quick post today but seeing as I haven’t done an outfit post in a while, I thought I’d compile a few of my iPhone piccys…

Loving my striped stretch roll neck top at the moment.  When teamed with a flick of black eyeliner and messy hair, it has a kind of 60’s Beatnik vibe about it…

I have had these acid wash skinny jeans for a while now.  I bought them from urban Outfitters and they’re great to team with a chunky knit jumper and my ankle boot loves (Joby Ankle boots from French Connection).

The denim shorts are my favourite item in my wardrobe.  You can’t beat a pair of vintage Levi 501 cut offs. And bottom left is my prized Michael Kors watch, with which I’m a little bit in love.

I’ve had a quiet weekend and spent time seeing friends and family, and enjoyed time spent reading (Behind the Scenes at the Museum by Kate Atkinson) with a few scented candles and a cup of green tea.  It’s a good book so far, an easy read – but then again I am only on page 29.  I always start books with such good intentions and then put them down half way through and move on to the next.  I’m definitely going to finish this one, as I’ve heard good reviews.  I’m also reading You Can Heal Your Life by Louise Hay.  I’m determined to start, continue and finish 2012 on a positive note, so I’m hoping Louise can plant a positive mental attitude within me to achieve some of my goals this year.  (These goals also include increasing and improving my wardrobe).  So aside from the indulgent hippie malarky, I have also painted my nails a sparkly shade of black and indulged in plenty of laziness (and also a little wine and chocolate with the girls).

This won’t be the case from Monday – research, planning and more research will commence for a couple of ventures I have in the pipeline.  Exciting times ahead for 2012.  See, this PMA has been planted already.
