I dislike the term ‘shoe porn’ but in this instance I feel it is entirely just. No other words do these shoes justice.

I NEED these in my life. My favourites being the most expensive, obviously.

HEART Chanel ♥

And I’ve wanted some Valentino Rockstuds for ages. ♥

And these are also Valentino. As a black boot addict, I’m very much in love.

VALENTINO4 Oh Miss McCartney… ♥

But I’ll take baby steps. Come pay day I’ll be treating myself to a pair of Meandher Metallic Brogues and Adidas Samba trainers.

Manolo has been crafting and perfecting the perfect shoe for 40 years, and ever since the show, Sex and the City first aired, the designer has reigned supreme in the shoe world amongst followers of fashion and shoe lovers internationally.  Having taken their place on Carrie Bradshaw’s feet in Sex and the City, Manolo Blahnik shoes have gathered a loyal following around the globe.

His designs are as coveted as Jimmy Choo and Christian Louboutins.  Every girl dreams of owning a pair, and if they currently do, then several pairs!

Manolos are generally favoured by ladies who enjoy a classic shoe design.  Although some of his designs are quite quirky in design and structure, many are classically beautiful and sophisticated, with a wearable heel height.

Diane Von Furstenberg is reported to own over 80 pairs!  Other celebrity fans include Sarah Jessica Parker, Jessica Alba, Olivia Palermo, the Olsen twins, Nicole Kidman, Victoria Beckham, and Kate Moss.  And if they’re good enough for Kate, they’re good enough for me… *ahem

Rachel Bilson Launches Shoe Collection – My thoughts…

So Rachel Bilson (super cute, pretty ex OC star) has turned her talents to designing.  Along with Nicole Chavez, Stylist and friend, Rachel Bilson has designed a complete shoe collection.

… Oh Rachel, I want to like them, I really really do, because I like you, and think you’re a super stylish lady – effortless and chic, but this isn’t mirrored at all in the designs… and (cue the wrath from Bilson fans) I really don’t like them.  The shoe collection, dare I say it, looks somewhat cheap and dated.

The poses by Rachel seem to be a little awkward and as for Powder Blue, ‘Cognac’ and snake print for colour?  It’s not really for me…

However ladies, if you do take a liking to the options below, the shoes are available on

Summer Shoes: Zara’s done it again…

Yes, Zara have done it again. They have surpassed themselves with their SS12 collection of shoes – however, personally, I’m not overly excited about the SS12 clothing collection (although if you want to inject some colour into your wardrobe, then I’d go for these and this).

I know we are currently in the depths of winter and it’s FREEZING but a little planning ahead goes a long way.  I’m not a huge fan of strappy shoes but these ones from Zara have won me over.  Zara are known for their fantastic shoes and many of the popular styles sell out, so I’d get in there first, because their collection for the coming season is just beautiful.

1) Now the first pair of shoes below are my favourite.  I love the colours and the fact that the style statement on the back of the shoe also means that the heel is supported, which is always good when mastering the art of walking naturally in heels, and not tottering before you’ve even had that first glass of wine. At £29.99, these shall be working their way into my wardrobe.

2 & 4) The second pair are ultra feminine and will look stunning with cropped black skinny jeans or a loose short black t-shirt dress.  Along with the last pair pictured, they are quite ‘Alexander Wang,’  – a perfect alternative at a snippet of the Wang price.

3) Pair three are definitely more ‘me’ and again, at a ridiculously good price.  With a thick wedge and ankle strap, these shoes will carry me well into a few party nights.
